Project Engineer - Multifamily Construction Job Category : Construction Requisition Number : PROJE001935 Posted : May 14, 2026 Full-Time On-site Locations Showing 1 location Description Carmel Partners is seeking a Project Engineer with experience in wood-frame residential construction Project Management to assist the Project Manager with the planning and daily execution of construction projects, improving delivery and outcomes for the projects. Work on this project: 3300 Blake - Gradient 481 units 10 story Light Gauge Type II building with a 5 story Type III building on a two-level Type I parking structure Retail, amenities, expansive courtyard with pool and spa 28 months remaining in project duration Responsibilities Assist the Project Manager and Lead Superintendent with planning and execution of construction projects Maintain project schedule, manage submittals, RFIs, material coordination, schedules and budgets Manage submittal log and coordinate drawings with subcontractors Serve as onsite quality manager for assigned trades Manage internal and external meetings, prepare and document all meetings Coordinate subcontractor compliance with contract documents Assist with scope of work, bid package development, and solicitation of subcontractors and suppliers Assist with site logistics and traffic control plans and permits Assist with loss prevention, sustainability requirements and quality control program Distribute change documents, collect pricing, prepare change requests Compile and submit owner-required close‑out documents and schedule owner training Conduct business in accordance with company policies and federal laws (OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing, etc.) Qualifications OSHA 10 or 30 hour certification within past three years and current First Aid and CPR training Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field 1+ years in Multi‑Family Construction, Civil Engineering, or related field 1+ years in Residential Construction Project Management Experience in type I, II, and III construction Proficiency with Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CoPilot, Microsoft Project Experience with Smartsheet, Procore, and Bluebeam Ability to pass a drug screen after conditional offer Bonus Qualifications Strong verbal and written communication skills across multiple audiences Flexible and adaptable to changing work demands Compensation and Benefits Base compensation range: $90,000 to $95,000 . Total compensation includes a bonus incentive in addition to the base salary. The Company reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range and to offer additional benefits and compensation.
