Die Maintenance Tool and Die Maker - 1st Shift

Ultra Tool Manufacturing

Germantown, WI

Basic Function:

Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting dies and fixtures before, during, and after production to ensure top performance and long tool life.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities:

🧩 Build new die components
📦 Identify needed parts and coordinate orders
🛠️ Maintain and sharpen dies as needed
💻 Update tool repair records
💡 Recommend improvements to tooling
🔍 Troubleshoot tooling issues during production

Requirements:

🎓 High school diploma or equivalent
🛠️ Completed state-indentured Tool amp; Die apprenticeship OR 6+ years non-indentured tool amp; die experience
Minimum 3 years building, maintaining, and troubleshooting progressive tooling
📜 Journeyman Card in Tool amp; Die
