For nearly 40 years, Glen Oaks Hospital has been a leader in the field of mental health and chemical dependency care, and our staff is dedicated to researching the latest treatment approaches and applying this to our overall treatment philosophy.The LVN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders. Hours: Varied; 7am to 3pm and/or 3pm to 11pm, weekdays and weekendsQualifications:Education: Graduate from a Vocational School of Nursing Accredited by the State Board of Nursing.Experience: Minimum one (1) year as a LVN in psychiatric nursing preferred.Licensure: Licensed to practice Vocational nursing from the State Board of Nursing or Psychiatric Technicians.Additional Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications.
