Contract Specialist II

Supporting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) with cradle-to-grave acquisition and contract administration, the full-time remote Contract Specialist II will manage federal procurement actions, prepare solicitation documentation, conduct market research, and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with federal acquisition requirements. Key Responsibilities Support pre-award acquisition activities, including market research and procurement planning for assigned contracts Prepare and organize solicitation documents and acquisition files, ensuring compliance with federal regulations Assist with post-award contract administration and provide guidance to program officials and contractors Required Qualifications 3 years of experience in federal acquisition, procurement, or contract administration Working knowledge of federal contracting processes, including pre-award and post-award activities Experience preparing or reviewing RFQs, RFPs, and other acquisition documentation Familiarity with FAR-based procurement requirements and market research Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
