Pay or shift range: $68,000 USD to $102,000 USD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons. Information Systems Engineers participates in the design, operation, and maintenance of Boise Cascade’s IT infrastructure. This role ensures functionality and reliability of a wide range of hardware and software platforms, leads projects, and works with a team of professionals to support organizational goals. Responsibilities Ensure network reliability, performance, and security, proactively monitoring and resolving issues. Collaborate on IT related projects, upgrades, and expansions to support business growth. Perform incident response and root cause analysis for system outages. Assist in the design and implementation of wired and wireless networks. Implement, manage, and maintain hardware and hardware configurations including access points, handheld scanners, tablets, printers, and security cameras. Develop and maintain documentation including topology diagrams, configuration standards, IP address management, and operational procedures. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and corporate policies. Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies. Ability to work in hot and cold industrial environments where PPE is required. Operate boom lifts and be comfortable working at heights. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: College Degree or equivalent work experience in related job function. Working conditions are an office environment with minimal physical exertion. Preferred Qualifications: Typically more than three (3) years of experience in related job function. May require professional certification.
