Merchandiser/Stocker - Hub

Compensation Pay range: $11.00 - $17.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage for the job location. Additional compensation includes annual and quarterly performance bonuses, and premiums that may be paid at amounts per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met. Responsibilities Keep the front floor area stocked, fronted, and clean; stock merchandise according to planograms or displays; complete sales preparation; and greet customers on the sales floor. Serve as a stock puller for the installer area in large installer volume stores. Greet customers on the sales floor and assist them in locating merchandise or direct them to a parts specialist if hard parts are needed. Check in, price, and put up stock; keep merchandise on the display floor fronted, full, and clean on a daily basis. Make display changes according to company guidelines and planograms; make all out‑front price changes. Ensure all “sale” signs are in place, the sales flyer rack is stocked, and maintain sufficient quantities of sale merchandise on display. Remove all sale material when a sale ends and restore original pricing. Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns. Work with the manager to complete the store To‑Do List and Team Weekly tasks. Act as the main shoplifting deterrent and front‑floor security. Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities. Clock in and out according to company policy. Work with ISS to pull and stage installer deliveries for the delivery specialist; act as communication liaison between ISS, delivery specialists, and the store manager. Assist with determining the most efficient and safest routes for delivery specialists. Coordinate and ensure completion of quarterly vehicle inspections and maintenance with ISS and delivery specialists. Perform housekeeping duties for the back room and installer counter areas. Serve as HUB Store Order Puller—pull parts quickly and accurately from pick tickets and prepare them for delivery to stores serviced by the Hub store. Duties may include receiving orders from area stores, pulling parts accurately as listed on the stock transfer ticket, sorting parts by store location and placing them in tubs for delivery, inspecting boxes for damage, and keeping a clean, safe work area. Operate safely for the benefit of self and others, and maintain a watchful eye for unsafe practices and situations. Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, Abilities Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences and strong organizational skills. Previous stocking experience (desired). Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle (desired). Fluency in multiple languages; Spanish highly desired.
