Ortho Assistant

Family Orthodontics

Family Orthodontics is seeking a dependable and energetic Orthodontic Assistant to join our fast-paced practice.

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday | 7:15 AM - 4:30 PM

• Orthodontic assisting experience required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high volume office
• Experience with bonding, bracket placement/removal, wire changes, scans, impressions, and orthodontic adjustments
• Knowledge of orthodontic appliances and procedures
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Georgia Expanded Duties preferred

Education/Credentials:

• A minimum of a high school degree or equivalent is .
• Radiography requirements according to the state regulations.

Job related experience:

• Experience working in a professional, medical, or dental environment with direct customer service is desired.
• Pediatric experience, preferred

• Must possess excellent organizational skills- strong attention to detail, be able to multitask and perform job duties in a timely manner.
• Must have PC skills with an ability to learn and successfully use new software programs as required. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office is preferred; as well as experience with a fax machine, copy machine, and general office equipment.

Working conditions:

• Travel between the assigned offices, if needed
• Attend and participate in all office meetings, continuing education events and morning huddles
