Physician – Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens opportunity with current shift availability beginning November 26, 2026 through November 30, 2026, with additional shift availability in 2027
• Up to 10 patient encounters per shift within an 85-bed department
• Must hold an active Indiana medical license with a clean background and clean databank history
• Must possess a valid CSR and Indiana DEA registration
• Must supply adequate case logs as part of the credentialing process
• Board certification required; credentialing timeframe is approximately 30 days
• Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Laser certification required
• Manage low risk pregnancies with comprehensive obstetric care
• Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
• Perform OB ultrasounds including performance and interpretation
• Provide routine delivery services including vaginal deliveries and low forceps
• Decision-making for cesarean sections required
• Manage complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech, multiple births, and abruptions
• Perform repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Provide surgical gynecology services including open procedures and operative/major procedures such as ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's
• Nearest airport is Midway Airport in Chicago; lodging available at Holiday Inn Express in La Porte
