Job Description
Title: Medical/Surgical RN

Schedule:
- Shift: 12-hour shifts (Days & Nights)
- Weekend Requirement: Every-other weekends required; can also work every Saturday or every Sunday
- Holiday Requirement: Every-other holiday required

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 52 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week with overtime available

Requirements:
- Nursing degree; RN compact or state license
- BLS certification required; ACLS & PALS can be acquired once hired
- Entry-level position; new graduates are acceptable

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, evidence-based care within the scope of practice
- Conduct assessments, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver optimal care
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and adhere to facility protocols

Compliance / Notes:
- Minimal on-call required
- Self-scheduling available with flexibility needed for scheduling adjustments
- Floating to other units may be required within the scope of practice
