Beaver Dam, WI | Outpatient Surgical / Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days, 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00–17:00 | No scheduled weekends | Weekend call required (currently 1 in 4 rotation) | Holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within an operating room setting across a range of surgical specialties including General Surgery, Cataracts, Robotic-assisted procedures, Orthopedics, and GYN
• Float to other units or areas as needed based on patient and facility demands
• Participate in weekend call rotation as required
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient and family-centered care throughout the surgical experience

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience required, within the last 3 years
• Must pass a telemetry/cardiac rhythm interpretation exam prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; up to three attempts permitted under specified conditions)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple OR specialties including robotic-assisted and orthopedic procedures
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Demonstrated ability to adapt in a fast-paced, multi-specialty surgical environment
