Advanced Tax & Income Services is a family owned business in Nashville, TN. With offices in Nashville, Portland, Lebanon and Gallatin, we are one of the largest non-corporate tax preparation firms in middle Tennessee. We provide in-person appointment based services for our tax clients. Open 6 days a week during the tax season and 5 days a week year round, we strive to provide a level of tax service unmatched by other providers. Continuing education is offered annually to our preparers, keeping them up to date with current law and building a deeper knowledge of the tax law.  The pay rate of $30-$60 hours will be based on experience, credentials and education.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review individual and corporate tax returns
- Gather and analyze financial information to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by answering client inquiries and addressing any concerns
- Collaborate with clients to identify tax-saving opportunities and strategies
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and timely filing
- Utilize technical accounting skills to accurately calculate deductions, credits, and liabilities
- Market tax services to potential clients and assist with sales efforts

Qualifications:
- 6 years MINIMUM previous experience as a Tax Preparer
- Proficient in 10-key typing and data entry
- Strong technical accounting skills with the ability to analyze financial information
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in calculations and documentation
- Knowledge of current tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
