Heart Failure Physician Opportunity

Asheville Cardiology Associates, a partner of Mission Health, is seeking a Heart Failure Physician for our expanding Advanced Heart Failure Therapies Program. Qualified Candidates:

• Board certified or board eligible in advanced heart failure
• Practicing physicians and new grads are encouraged to apply
• Please note that this position does not offer visa support

Position Overview:

• Will be part of a team to include 3 HF Physicians, 2 advanced practice providers, 3 LVAD Coordinators, 2 dedicated clinic RN's and 1 pharmacist
• Candidates should be proficient in caring for patients with end-stage left and right heart diseases including: LVAD, acute mechanical circulatory support, pulmonary hypertension, infiltrative heart diseases and post heart transplantation
• Responsibilities will include inpatient and outpatient rotations, cardiac catheterization, endomyocardial biopsy and echocardiography including TEE
• Participate with scholarly education and research activities with residents and allied healthcare professionals
