Kaiser Permanente in West LA is seeking a dedicated Pathology Technician with expertise in specimen processing and staining. The ideal candidate will have experience in anatomy pathology and a commitment to excellence in laboratory operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Biology
• Experience within a pathology laboratory
• Skills: Grossing, Embedding, Staining

Responsibilities

• Process and stain specimens accurately and efficiently.
• Manage the ordering of laboratory supplies and maintain inventory control.
• Ensure the smooth operation of supply chain management.
• Perform data entry tasks related to specimen accessioning.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in specimen processing and staining techniques.
• Experience in anatomy pathology.
• Strong skills in ordering and supply chain management.
• Ability to efficiently manage inventory and control supplies.

Work Environment

The role requires working in a laboratory environment, handling various specimen processing tasks. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential. The position involves standard working hours.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Culver City, CA.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
