Heart Failure Clinical Associate

Responsibilities Oversee heart failure patients in the CTICU on mechanical support or VV ECMO, and those who have experienced these interventions. Manage patients with VADs on the surgical floor and those with Impella 5.5 devices in the CCU. Provide consistent support from Monday to Friday, including every other weekend. Participate in bedside procedures and ICU work. Serve as bill‑first assist in the operating room, supporting the overall BCVI Heart Failure program. Qualifications Completed an accredited training program in thoracic/cardiovascular surgery and hold board certification in the United States or an internationally equivalent certification. Compensation The expected base pay for this position is $220,000 - $260,000. Pay offered will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and market comparables.
