Work Environment This remote position is designed to offer clinicians flexibility while still fostering collaboration with colleagues based at our state-of-the-art hospice center. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients to understand their mental health needs comprehensively, collecting relevant history and evaluating presenting concerns. Develop individualized treatment plans that are tailored to client goals, incorporating evidence-based interventions that enhance emotional well-being. Implement and manage clinical interventions with a focus on solution-oriented approaches, allowing clients to gain skills for managing their mental health challenges. Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and ensure compliance with confidentiality standards, adhering to ethical guidelines and state regulations. Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals within the hospice center to ensure comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for clients and their families. Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and available resources, providing ongoing support through their treatment journeys. Commit to lifelong learning by staying current with the latest research trends, treatment modalities, and legislative changes in mental health care. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will engage with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing severe emotional distress, bereavement, chronic illness, and other psychosocial challenges common within hospice care settings. You will implement care strategies that promote emotional resilience and support clients in achieving improved mental health outcomes. Qualifications A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required. A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Texas is mandatory. At least three years of clinical experience, with a specialization in psychotherapy, demonstrating a strong background in mental health treatment. Proficient in evidence-based, solution-focused therapeutic practices, with the ability to adapt interventions according to client needs. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to empathize and build rapport with clients from various backgrounds. A proven track record of thriving in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment. Preferred Experience Experience working with terminally ill patients and their families within a hospice care setting is preferred. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote counseling methods is advantageous. Compensation and Benefits Life Way Counseling Services offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
