Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician for a backfill position in a dynamic medical environment. This role involves working in the cardiac catheterization lab and playing a vital part in providing exceptional patient care.

Shift Details

• Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL

Unit Specifics

• Number of Beds: 7 holding beds
• Patient Ratios: Defined by unit staffing, including unit secretaries and technical availability
• Type of Equipment: GE Innova, Impella
• Documentation System: MacLab, Meditech

Scheduling Requirements

The typical schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with Stemi call approximately 10 to 12 days per month. Self-scheduling is available.

Patient Experience Requirements

Candidates must possess relevant certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).

Requested Skill Set

• Cath Lab experience
• Experience with Structural Heart procedures
• Knowledge of IABP and Impella devices
• Understanding of IFR and FFR techniques

Must-Have Qualifications

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification

Advanced Skills Preferred

• Experience with PCI and PFO procedures
• Knowledge of Impella and IABP management

Procedures Performed in Unit

• TAVR
• PFOA
• Atherectomy
• PCI/R/LHC
• Impella/IABP
• Implants
• DCCV, TEE

Dress Code

Surgical scrubs will be provided by the facility.
