Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive medical history analyses
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Engage with surgeons to design and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Provide essential intraoperative support, including preparing the OR, positioning patients, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver exemplary pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• This position greatly prefers completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practices

Certifications

• Hold current, unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills

• In-depth understanding of surgical concepts and sterile techniques
