Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Wisconsin teaching license with Cross-Categorical endorsement is required
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in an elementary school
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs), progress monitoring, and differentiated instruction
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with para support, general education staff, and families
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Create and implement individualized education programs for students with diverse learning needs
• Partner closely with classroom paras to support students academically and behaviorally
• Adapt and modify curriculum to meet the unique requirements of each student, promoting inclusion within the general education classroom when appropriate
• Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and administration to track student progress and celebrate achievements
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and maintain thorough documentation
