Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - Home Health - $2,091 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapy Assistant Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 06/18/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant in Portland, OR. You will work with home health patients recovering from injury or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and remain active under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Reliable transportation and agency‑required liability insurance are required for home visits. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Oregon PTA license required prior to the start of the assignment. Current CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Minimum 2-3 years of experience working as a licensed PTA in home health or comparable settings preferred; client‑specific requirements indicate 2-3 years of supervisory experience under a licensed physical therapist for certain states. Familiarity with basic computer functions including email, internet navigation, electronic documentation, and online training systems. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license for home visits. Preferred Qualifications Experience providing care in home health settings. Previous travel PTA experience. Experience with electronic medical records commonly used in home health agencies. Assignment Details Evening shift, scheduled as 5x8 .
