Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Soldotna, Alaska
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 8:00 AM-5:30 PM
Setting: Outpatient Pediatric

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a collaborative pediatric therapy team in Soldotna, Alaska.

This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working with children and families, values a supportive multidisciplinary environment, and is passionate about providing high-quality speech and language therapy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with communication, speech, and language impairments.

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations using standardized assessments.

• Develop and provide individualized treatment plans based on clinical reasoning and professional expertise.

• Develop and provide home programs throughout the intervention period and at discharge.

• Supervise SLPAs in accordance with state regulations and provide supervision to speech aides as needed.

• Collaborate with PTs, OTs, SLPs, support staff, and families/caregivers.

• Participate in staff and speech therapy meetings.

• Maintain required CPR certification.

• Follow professional ethics, HIPAA requirements, and organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Current Alaska SLP license

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required

• Pediatric speech-language therapy experience preferred.

• Strong clinical documentation, organization, and time-management skills.

• Ability to effectively supervise SLPAs and speech aides.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and OneNote.
