About the Role

As a Caregiver, you will provide one-on-one, non-medical care to seniors and individuals who need assistance remaining safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.

Responsibilities vary by client and may include:

• Companionship and emotional support

• Bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance

• Meal preparation and assistance with meals

• Medication reminders

• Walking, transfers, and mobility assistance

• Light housekeeping

• Transportation to appointments, errands, and outings when applicable

• Assistance with daily living activities

• Following individualized care plans

• Communicating client changes, concerns, or incidents to management

• Treating every client with patience, dignity, kindness, and respect

Who We're Looking For

The right caregiver is:

• Reliable and punctual
  
  
• Compassionate, patient, and understanding

• Professional and respectful

• A strong communicator

• Able to follow care plans and instructions

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

• Physically able to safely perform caregiver duties

• Committed to providing quality care—not simply completing a shift
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• CNA or HHA certification preferred , OR

• 1,000 hours of caregiving experience preferred , including approximately 6 months full-time or 12 months part-time caring for seniors or individuals with chronic illnesses

• Exceptions may be considered for newly licensed CNAs, HHAs, or PCAs; significant family caregiving experience; or companionship/housekeeping -only positions

• Current TB test

• Reliable transportation

• Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable vehicle if transporting clients

• Ability to pass a national criminal background check and drug screening

• Ability to meet applicable state and federal requirements
