Medical Assistant

As a Medical Assistant, you'll be a vital link between our patients and providers, often the first clinical contact patients have during their visit. Working onsite in a fast-paced clinical environment and reporting to the Center Administrator, you'll bring together clinical skills and administrative support to help deliver excellent patient care.

What You'll Do

• Document patient symptoms and history in the EMR
• Take and record accurate vital signs
• Administer injections and medications
• Perform diagnostic tests
• Collect specimens and draw blood
• Sterilize equipment and maintain a clean, well-organized exam room

What You Bring

• Completion of an accredited MA training program, Certified/Registered Medical Assistant credential, or 5+ years of relevant experience with Provider approval
• 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience
• Phlebotomy experience
• Electronic Medical Records experience
• Experience administering medication and vaccines
• Current CPR Certification

Nice to Have

• Active MA certification or Registration
• Value-based Care experience including familiarity with HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS patient experience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Work Hours: Monday Friday 8:00 to 5:00

Location: Onsite at CenterWell Senior Primary Care Center located at: 390 West Lake Mead Parkway, Suite 120, Henderson, NV 89015

This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Pay Range: $43,000 - $56,200 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
