Medical Lab Technologist

Perform molecular assays in Women's Health, Infectious Disease, Urology, and Hematology FISH Evaluate and perform breast prognostic marker, PD-L1, MMR evaluation (IHC), and HER2 DUAL ISH slide enumeration Participate in CAP proficiency testing Perform high-volume laboratory testing Enter and review results in the laboratory information system (LIS) Perform equipment maintenance Prepare reagents, media, chemicals, and solutions Process specimens using established laboratory techniques Set up and maintain laboratory instruments and apparatus Record determinations and results for physician review Maintain confidentiality and comply with PHI privacy and security standards Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Laboratory Science or equivalent under 1988 CLIA high-complexity testing guidelines Completion of a NAACLS-accredited Medical Laboratory Scientist program State licensure Must possess a General Supervisor of a Licensed Laboratory license, or be eligible to obtain one Minimum of three years of experience as an MT/CLS required for the general supervisor license Laboratory computer skills MT (ASCP) preferred Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and comply with PHI privacy and security standards Availability for full-time, 40-hour first mid-shift schedule, Sunday through Thursday Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in performing molecular assays and high-volume laboratory testing while ensuring compliance with PHI privacy and security standards.
