Associate Director/Director Cardiovascular Pharmacology

Edgewise Therapeutics seeks a cardiovascular pharmacology leader to design and oversee multi-omics and in vivo research programs targeting heart disease. The role combines independent scientific execution with team leadership, project strategy, and cross-functional collaboration across the company's cardiovascular pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and execute independent experiments across ongoing cardiovascular research projects
• Lead and oversee teams conducting detailed wet laboratory experiments with appropriate controls
• Establish project strategy, objectives, and direction through experimental design and data interpretation
• Manage a group of independent researchers and contribute to cross-disciplinary coordination
• Produce scientific reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Ph.D. or equivalent experience in cardiovascular physiology
• Expertise in multi-omics, molecular, and in vivo experimental design
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor scientific teams independently
• Strong wet laboratory technical skills with complex experimental execution
• Experience managing internal and external scientific collaborations
• Track record of analyzing, interpreting, and communicating complex research data
