Our client seeks a Market Research Manager contractor to join the Enterprise Brand Insights team. The role will provide consumer insights that inform marketing, advertising, and brand strategies. The ideal candidate has experience managing primary research among B2B audiences and using insights to drive outcomes for strategic initiatives.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $40.00 to $50.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing consumer research expertise and consultation to internal partners and senior leaders to support marketing strategy decisions.
Lead research design, execution, and delivery of insights using brand health and communications trackers, creative pre-testing, in-market advertising and media effectiveness studies, foundational audience insights, and custom qualitative and quantitative studies.
Manage third-party research partners to deliver high-quality work.
Leverage data and insights across primary, secondary, and syndicated sources to strengthen recommendations.
Partner with teammates to align research to business needs and gain executive endorsement.
Present brand and marketing insights to internal partners, peers, and senior leaders using clear storytelling and actionable insights.
Oversee a team of market researchers through vendor and agency partnerships to deliver against objectives.
Design and execute market research projects, including methodology selection, pricing and feasibility assessment, analysis, report creation, and presentation of insights.
Perform data pulls and ad-hoc analyses to inform key business decisions.
Experience Requirements:
Curious, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial mindset with ability to propose and pursue new research projects.
Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting survey results and synthesizing insights for marketing strategy.
Strong writing and presentation skills with ability to simplify complex subjects and present actionable insights with effective design and data visualizations.
Experience in planning, execution, and analysis of market research, including questionnaire and experimental design, qualitative research, and other methods.
Experience managing an ongoing market research agenda.
At least 5 years of hands-on primary market research experience.
Preferred: Experience leading brand health and communications tracking research.
Preferred: Experience leading creative and media effectiveness research.
Preferred: 3+ years in a client-side market research role.
Preferred: 2+ years at a Fortune 500 or a company known for marketing and market research.
Preferred: 2+ years working with analytical tools such as Python, R, SAS, SPSS, or SQL.
Preferred: 2+ years in a marketing strategy role.
Preferred: 1+ year managing advertising campaigns for Fortune 500 brands.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
Preferred: Bachelor’s in market research, marketing, business, sociology, psychology, behavioral economics, or biology.
Preferred: Advanced degree such as MBA or MS in a related field.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
