This position is based in Manchester, NJ and oversees our group home. Salary: $58,000 – $68,000. Responsibilities Plan and implement occupational, recreational, social, and developmental plans for each individual in care. Ensure facilities are maintained to present Devereux as a good neighbor and welcomed member of the community. Oversee all staff in assigned programs, including hiring, performance management, attendance, payroll accuracy, and training compliance. Ensure shifts are adequately covered. Supervise the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs that meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of individuals. Plan and participate in group outings for individuals. Manage shopping for the home’s necessities, such as food, clothing, and household items. Schedule and transport individuals to doctor’s appointments, shopping trips, and day programs/schools. Qualifications Minimum of a high‑school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Valid, non‑provisional driver’s license. Ability to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays. One year of supervisory experience in child or adult behavioral health care agency. Two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community setting preferred. Empathetic and teamwork‑oriented approach to care.
