One Family Illinois It Support SpecialistAt One Family Illinois, we uphold compassion, inclusion, integrity, and adaptability as the core values guiding our work with each other, children, families, and the community.The full-time IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing IT services to staff, Professional Foster Parents and youth in care at all One Family Illinois sites. The IT Support Specialist will serve as the IT support function to the business while working with a third party outside IT provider (Bridgepoint).Duties:Manage company-wide inventory of technology equipment required for individual workstations and jobsites (computers, smart phones, printers, etc.):-Prepare hardware prior to new employee onboarding-Work with Bridgepoint to establish new employee accounts (i.e. MS Office 365, Dropbox, etc.)-Prepare hardware after employee off boardingServe as IT Help Desk-Communicate with Bridgepoint to provide remote response and troubleshooting-Provide in-person response and troubleshootingMonitor Bridgepoint work related to Network, server, workstation monitoring and management:-Monitor servers and workstation to anticipate issues before they cause downtime-Manage server and workstation scheduled monthly patchingManage audio/visual and technological aspects of on-site events for the Development Department including fundraisers and donor engagement events (will require several evenings throughout the course of the year).Manage software accounts, licenses and renewals as listed by BridgepointResearch and recommend hardware and software for purchaseAnalyze vendor contracts and provide recommendationsRecommend IT investments aligned with corporate business goalsEducate employees on cybersecurity risksManage Mitel our Phone and Internet vendorOther duties as assignedRequirements:Bachelors' degree, preferably in related field with one to two years professional experience including at least one year of experience in the field.Knowledge and experience with IT.Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholdersA multitasker with the ability to wear many hats in a fast-paced environmentPersonal qualities of integrity, credibility, and customer service are importantAbility to pass DCFS required criminal background check including CANTS/SACWIS and SORS.Valid Illinois driver's license with acceptable driving record; insured and reliable transportation, as the position will be split between Villages and will be involved within the communities.Willingness to travel within the community and to the various agency sites.Ability to work flexible hours including evening and weekends. Schedule may regularly be later mornings to evenings on weekdays and weekends depending on activities scheduled.
