Exciting opportunity for a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant! This contract position offers the chance to provide vital support to a dedicated student caseload for the 2026-2027 school year. With a flexible schedule of 6 hours per week, you’ll play a key role in helping students achieve their physical therapy goals in a supportive educational setting.
What You’ll Need:
- Current, valid Massachusetts PTA license
- Experience delivering physical therapy services in a school or pediatric environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with educators, families, and students
- Ability to adapt interventions to diverse needs within a school setting
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
What You’ll Do:
- Implement individualized physical therapy programs as directed by the supervising physical therapist
- Work closely with students to encourage participation and progress toward their mobility and functional goals
- Document therapy sessions, track student progress, and report findings in compliance with school guidelines
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support and advocate for student needs
- Provide input to IEP teams as appropriate and participate in related meetings as needed
