- Performing thorough patient evaluations, requesting diagnostic examinations, and developing tailored plans of care
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, either in partnership with physicians or autonomously (as per credentialing)
- Instructing patients and families on health promotion, prevention, and disease management effectively
- Prescribing relevant medications and therapies within your scope of practice
- Involved in patient follow-up and chronic care management efforts
- Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, holistic health care
- Maintaining meticulous and accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Nebraska
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to acquire within 90 days)
- Strong clinical judgment accompanied by a warm, compassionate demeanor
- Excellent communication abilities with patients, families, and clinical teams
- Flexibility in fast-paced, patient-centered environments
- Proficiency with EMR systems and familiarity with telehealth solutions
- An attitude of collaboration and dedication to evidence-based practices
