Your Role

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, requesting diagnostic examinations, and developing tailored plans of care
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, either in partnership with physicians or autonomously (as per credentialing)
• Instructing patients and families on health promotion, prevention, and disease management effectively
• Prescribing relevant medications and therapies within your scope of practice
• Involved in patient follow-up and chronic care management efforts
• Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, holistic health care
• Maintaining meticulous and accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Nebraska
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to acquire within 90 days)
