Job Opportunity: Nurse Practitioner

Our organization is in search of a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to become a vital part of our hospitalist team. This full-time position involves rounding, consulting, and providing treatment to patients.

Position Details

• Schedule: Night shifts with a 7 on/7 off rotation
• Compensation: Night and weekend differential pay

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or 5 years in critical care nursing
• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Iowa and board certification are mandatory

Compensation and Benefits

• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 starting bonus
• Loan Forgiveness: Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness
• CME Allowance: $3,000 annually for continuing medical education
• Liability Coverage: Employer-sponsored professional liability and tail coverage
• Benefits: Eligible from day one
• Retirement Plans: Options include 403B and 457B

About Our Medical Center

Our facility is a Level II Trauma center that has been serving the community since 1893. We operate four not-for-profit Catholic medical centers and two specialty hospitals, totaling 875 beds. As part of a larger network, we have 420 care locations across Iowa, including 18 owned hospitals and 25 affiliated medical centers.

For the second consecutive year, our medical center has been recognized on the Becker's Healthcare list of 100 great hospitals in America, making us one of only two hospitals in Iowa to receive this honor.
