Position: Senior Consultant, Financial Modeling and Data Science Location: Arlington, VAJob Id: 258 # of Openings: 1 FI Consulting is seeking a highly motivated Senior Consultant who combines finance, data analytics, technology, and AI-enabled problem solving to build impactful solutions for complex client challenges. This person will design, develop, and deploy solutions that drive measurable outcomes, operating at the intersection of consulting, development, and advanced analytics, and working directly with clients and stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesDesign and build financial models, analytical tools, or technical solutionsTranslate client problems into structured models or systemsWork directly with client leadershipUse AI to improve speed and quality of deliverableCommunicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersLead teams to successfully deliver project solutionsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Math, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field4-10+ years of experience quantitative finance, data analytics, and/or technical consultingAdvanced proficiency in Python and SQL Experience with data science methodologies, including a proven ability to work with large datasets, streamline workflows, and deliver impactful analytical solutionsExperience with advanced analytics, including financial modeling, financial forecasting, and statistical analysisExperience developing interactive dashboardsConsulting skills including problem-solving, communication, stakeholder managementPreferred QualificationsExperience working with capital markets, finance, housing, or bankingExperience in consultingIdeal Candidate ProfileLeadership and ownership of specific outcomesExperience communicating and collaborating with stakeholdersLearn and apply new technologies quickly Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencyShows intellectual curiosity and initiative beyond formal requirementsPassion for using AI to accomplish all of the aboveAdditional requirements:Authorized to work in the United States as a US Citizen.
