Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description

We are seeking dedicated warehouse workers for 2nd and 3rd shifts to efficiently manage materials in our warehouse and support saw operators. Opportunities for overtime may arise once training is complete. The position requires working in a facility that handles heavy materials, necessitating the use of steel-toed boots.

• Operate sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes to load inventory and move heavy metal around the shop.
• Load materials for saw operators and transport finished products to the Shipping and Receiving area for delivery.
• Assist in the saw operating department by loading, measuring, and cutting materials.

• Ability to read a tape measure with precision (5/8 and 7/8 measurements).
• At least 1 year of experience operating sit-down forklifts.
• Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Experience in steel, recycling, or heavy-duty environments is advantageous.

The work environment is a dark, damp steel facility, ideal for individuals accustomed to challenging conditions. Shifts are available from 3pm to 11am for the 2nd shift and from 11pm to 7am for the 3rd shift, with a premium pay rate. Steel-toed boots are required for safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, MI.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
