Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.Job Summary:Dishwashers are responsible for washing dishes and all cooking materials by machine or hand, maintaining cleanliness of equipment and kitchen work areas, sweeping and scrubbing floors, sorting and removing trash, stocking supplies (such as food or utensils) in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators and salad bars. Responsibilities also include helping to maintain the outdoor service areas, loading docks, building entrances and garbage disposal areas by removing snow and spreading sand/grit. Upholding Killington's Hospitality standards to both our guests and staff.Summary of Key Responsibilities:Operate a commercial dishwasher, including loading and unloading dishes and running the machine properlyScrub pots and pans and wash any other dishes that cannot be put in the dishwasherProperly set up and operate a three bay sinkSweep and mop floorsClean and organize kitchen work areasTake out trash, recycling, and compostLoad and unload food deliveries and suppliesMaintain a proper station, keeping items organized and tidy on a daily basisUnderstand and use of proper PPE during a work shift will be requiredPerform basic machine log data such as dishwasher temp log, PPM log, etc.Assist with other routine food service functions as assignedQualifications:Three months of experience in a high-end or high-volume restaurant, resort, or private club environmentPrevious dishwashing experience preferredAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Must be reliable and have a flexible scheduleMust be able to follow and implement Killington's Hospitality standards to both customers and guestsPossess a willingness to consistently communicate in a positive manner with coworkersMust be able to work both independently and as part of a teamMust have excellent time management skillsIt is the policy of Killington/Pico Ski Resort Partners, LLC to provide equal opportunity and employment to all staff and applicants.
