Procurement Manager

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Procurement Manager in Annapolis, MD. Summary: The Procurement Manager will manage purchasing activities, vendor relationships, inventory, and procurement processes across a growing organization. This role will work closely with Finance and Operations to ensure products and supplies are available when needed while identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvement. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities
• Maintain and develop vendor relationships
• Review pricing, purchasing activity, and vendor performance
• Monitor inventory levels and purchasing needs
• Manage purchase orders and vendor agreements
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Partner with internal teams to improve purchasing processes and controls
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or related field preferred
• Procurement certification such as CPSM, CSCP, or C.P.M. is a plus
• 5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
• Experience with inventory and purchase order management
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Healthcare, medical, pharmaceutical, or related industry experience preferred
