Manufacturing Technician

A client of Innova Solutionsis immediately hiring a ManufacturingTechnician. Position Type: Full time, Contract to Hire Duration: 12months Location: Ashaway, RI 02804 (Onsite/1st Shift) Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Mechanical Assembly Skills: Proficiency in building complex mechanical assemblies.(electrical and optical assemblies, components, and harnesses) Computer Skills: Adept at programming assemblies using relevant software. Computer Proficiency: Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Windows and Office. Technical Literacy: Proficient to read and interpret engineering work instructions, drawings, or schematics to effectively perform job duties. Ideal candidate will have High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience. Currently or previously IPC J-STD-001 solder certified. This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
