Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a float pool position rotating across multiple critical care and intermediate care units in a Level 1 trauma academic medical center, with Epic EMR experience required.

• Float pool position rotating across multiple ICU and intermediate care units including Medical ICU, Thoracic Cardiovascular ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Surgical Trauma ICU (Level 1), Neuro & Neurosurgery ICU, Critical Care and Intermediate Care Special Pathogens Unit, Thoracic Cardiovascular Intermediate Unit, Surgical Trauma Intermediate Unit, Neuro & Neurosurgery Intermediate Unit, and ED Boarders
• Level 1 Trauma academic medical center setting
• Night shift: 7p–7a
• Schedule of 4x12-hour shifts per week, with the option for 48-hour weeks
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required; time off cannot be approved for Memorial Day or the 4th of July
• Epic EMR experience required
• Floating required across ICU and intermediate care units per the facility's float policy

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required; pending VA license will be accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ICU nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait at least 12 months before returning as a traveler
• No radius rule — local candidates are accepted
• Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract
• Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
