Academic Child Psychologist (NTT)

Job Description The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Missouri School of Medicine is recruiting a Child PhD/PsyD psychologist in clinical or counseling psychology for a non‑tenure track Assistant Professional Practice Professor faculty position. The clinically focused faculty member will work primarily at MU Healthcare's Woodrail Child Psychiatry clinic. The position will provide psychotherapeutic services to children and collaborate with other clinical providers as part of an interdisciplinary team. Other responsibilities include supervision and instruction to psychiatry residents and medical students, participation in research collaboration, and serving on academic committees. Opportunities for consultation and collaboration with partners across MU Health Care may also be possible. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience. Responsibilities Provide psychotherapeutic services to children in the outpatient setting. Supervise psychiatry residents and medical students. Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical team. Engage in research collaboration and serve on academic committees. Participate in academic activities and contribute to the department. Qualifications Licensed or license‑eligible psychologist in the state of Missouri. Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA‑accredited program. Completed an APA‑accredited pre‑doctoral internship. Demonstrated commitment and competence in providing evidence‑based clinical services for a broad range of mental health concerns in an outpatient setting. Specialized training and experience in DBT, CBT, and/or MI is highly desirable. Application Materials Be prepared to upload a CV.
