Job Duties
  • Create Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patients' needs and formulate personalized treatment strategies that encourage them in reaching their functional targets.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices that enhance patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily lifestyle activities.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Partner closely with physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and integrated care.
  • Instruct and Empower Patients: Teach patients and their families effective therapy methods to ensure ongoing progress in their daily lives.
  • Track and Adjust Treatment Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and make adjustments to therapies as necessary to keep patients on the path to recovery.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Continuing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.
Licenses
  • Active license as an Occupational Therapist (OTR) .
  • Certification from NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) required.
