Location:
• DHS St. Elizabeth Campus: 2703 Martin Luther King Jr Ave SE, Washington, DC 20593

Schedule:
• Clinic. Hours (Mon-Friday) 0800-1630 EDT

Contract PoP:

9/22/2026-9/21/2031

Contract renews 9/22 of each year

Requirements:

Education:

Graduation from an accredited associate, baccalaureate, or graduate nursing program recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Experience:

Minimum of one (1) year of professional experience as a licensed Registered Nurse in an urgent care, emergency department, ambulatory clinic, or comparable clinical setting.
Experience in occupational health, emergency care, or federal clinical environments is preferred.

Certifications/License

Current, full, and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in a U.S. state, territory, or compact state permitting practice at the duty location
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association •
Additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, emergency or occupational health credentials) preferred but not required

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Proficiency in urgent care nursing procedures and patient assessment
Ability to operate clinical equipment and
diagnostic tools • Familiarity with electronic health records and Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of privacy and confidentiality requirements (HIPAA, Privacy Act, PII) • Ability to respond appropriately to emergent situations
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide direct nursing care within scope of practice and clinical protocols • Support urgent care providers through clinical assistance and coordination • Perform triage, treatment, and patient education
Ensure continuity of care and appropriate follow-up • Participate in clinic readiness, emergency response, and mission support activities

• DUTY HOURS / ON-CALL REQUIREMENTS

Clinic operates during established Government-designated hours, typically Monday-Friday.
Duty hours may be adjusted based on clinic workload, mission requirements, or Government-directed activities. The Contractor is responsible for assigning and managing all work schedules and duty hours for its personnel in response to contract requirements. The Government will not assign shifts or supervise work hours.
On-call requirements may vary based on Government onsite events, emergency activations, or mission-critical operations. Any on-call or extended hour requirements will be communicated to the Contractor, who will be responsible for assigning personnel coverage
Any on-call or extended hour requirements will be coordinated in advance by the Government, except in emergency situations.
The Contractor is responsible for assigning and managing all work schedules and duty hours for its personnel in response to contract requirements.
The Government will not assign shifts or supervise work hours.
