In this role, you’ll play an essential part in fostering educational success and emotional health for students. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff to create a positive impact, working at a school located conveniently near North Dighton, MA.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience conducting comprehensive student evaluations and assessments.
- Strong knowledge of psychological and educational testing methods.
- Expertise in writing clear, thorough reports for school-based teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, supportive education environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct student evaluations and assessments to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive, evidence-based psychological reports.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide consultation and recommendations to staff regarding interventions and strategies.
- Participate in team meetings, providing insight into students’ cognitive and psychological profiles.
- Uphold ethical and legal standards in all professional practices.
