Lead Interpreter Scheduler

Managing interpreter scheduling procedures, the full-time Lead Interpreter Scheduler will coordinate staff training, process scheduling requests, and ensure effective communication between patients and interpreters in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Plans and implements scheduling procedures while developing statistics to measure program effectiveness Processes requests in interpreter scheduling systems and evaluates patient communication needs Triages emergency requests and maintains communication with interpreters regarding assignment status Required qualifications Associate's degree in Medical, Secretarial, or related field and 3 years of relevant experience Knowledge of medical terminology preferred Experience with surgical/appointment scheduling software and electronic medical records preferred Customer relations skills preferred Virtual Vocations Inc
