Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct detailed mental health assessments to accurately identify patient needs and create tailored treatment plans that prioritize their individual goals. \n
- Deliver a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, catering to individuals, couples, and families. \n
- Facilitate engaging psychoeducational and support groups, creating a safe space for clients to share and learn from one another regarding common mental health issues. \n
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care that addresses the multifaceted needs of our patients. \n
- Provide crisis intervention services, supporting patients during critical periods of mental health emergencies. \n
- Educate clients about their mental health conditions, explaining treatment options and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey. \n
- Maintain up-to-date records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards, ensuring continuity of care and legal adherence. \n
- Participate in case consultations and team meetings regularly to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed. \n
- Commit to ongoing professional development by staying informed of research advancements in mental health therapies and practices. \n
You will serve a diverse client population, including adolescents, adults, and families, who present with a wide range of mental health concerns. Our patients come from various backgrounds and experiences, providing you with the opportunity to engage in culturally competent and individualized care.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Virginia is essential. \n
- Proven experience in conducting thorough mental health assessments and developing effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. \n
- Strong expertise in a variety of treatment modalities and a commitment to employing evidence-based approaches in therapy sessions. \n
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. \n
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems is highly desirable, along with the familiarity of remote therapeutic tools. \n
- Adherence to professional ethical standards and a clear understanding of mental health policies. \n

- A minimum of 1 year of experience in delivering mental health therapy is required, with this experience preferably in a telehealth or outpatient setting. \n
- Experience facilitating group therapy sessions or psychoeducational workshops is advantageous. \n
