Description
Tradesmen International is looking to expand our team of qualified Trade Professionals for current & future projects in and around Colorado Springs, CO. Most positions are first shift with a pay scale of $25-35/hour based on experience & skill level with Travel Work Available. Job Scope:
Weld and fabricate structural or mechanical components
Set up and operating welding equipment
Perform fit-up and layout before welding
Read blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
Cut, grind, and prepare materials
Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other materials, as well as repair or modify existing equipment and structures
Commercial, industrial, manufacturing, fabrication, construction, field, or shop environments
Perform visual inspections of completed welds and following project-specific welding procedures and quality requirements
Requirements
Previous professional welding or fabrication experience
Ability to safely operate welding and fabrication equipment
Ability to read basic measurements and follow project specifications
Basic tools for the trade
Proper PPE, including welding hood, gloves and appropriate protective clothing
