Bilingual (Spanish) CDL Driver Class B

Position Purpose The CDL Driver at SRS ensures safe, timely delivery of building materials to job sites, verifies inventory, follows safety protocols, and maintains high service standards. This role supports operational efficiency and fosters strong customer relationships through professionalism, teamwork, and responsiveness. Key Responsibilities Safely operate Class B vehicles within a 200‑mile radius, complying with DOT regulations and avoiding overnight travel. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, verify inventory accuracy, and ensure secure, damage‑free deliveries. Assess job site conditions to prevent hazards and collaborate with customers for material placement. Document deliveries with photos per company policy. Support yard operations and uphold OSHA safety standards to maintain a clean, efficient, and safe work environment. Lift and handle materials up to 100lbs. using forklifts or manually, and operate forklifts safely. Direct Manager & Direct Reports Reports to the Assistant Branch Manager or Operations Manager and may supervise or train junior drivers as required. Travel and Physical Requirements Travel locally and interstate within a 200‑mile radius, with all deliveries beginning and ending at the home branch on the same day—no overnight stays. Must be physically capable of long hours of driving, handling materials up to 100lbs., working in varied weather and noisy environments, and reading job‑related documents in English. Minimum Qualifications Valid CDL Class B with air brakes endorsement and a clean driving record. Commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations. Ability to lift up to 100lbs. and operate forklifts. Minimum age 18 (21 for interstate/hazmat). High school diploma or GED. Pass background checks, drug tests, and E‑Verify. Preferred Qualifications Hazmat endorsement. Strong vehicle maintenance skills. Experience with multi‑drop deliveries. Familiarity with fleet management systems. Multilingual abilities, especially Spanish. Certifications Commercial Driver’s License (CDLB) with Air Brakes Endorsement – Required. Current DOT Medical Certificate – Required. Forklift Certification – Preferred. FMCSA Registration – Required. Compensation & Benefits The base salary typically falls within the range of $25.87 to $32.93 per hour. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime, performance‑based bonus programs, commissions, a car allowance or automobile and fuel program, and reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with company travel policy.
