Description

The Commissioning Controls Engineer supports the installation, startup, and validation of custom automated equipment at customer facilities. This role is responsible for controls programming, system debugging, commissioning, and customer support while working with PLCs, HMIs, robotics, vision systems, and motion control technologies. Successful candidates will bring industrial automation experience, strong technical troubleshooting skills, and a willingness to travel to support projects throughout deployment and acceptance.

NICE TO HAVE:- Experience interfacing with Fanuc and/or ABB robots- Motion Controls experience (Servo Drives and VFD)- Industrial Networks experience (Ethernet I/P, Profibus, Profinet, Remote I/O- Experience interfacing with Cognex and/or Keyence vision systems

This is a Contract position based out of Farmington Hills, MI.

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
