Requisition ID 930961 Store # 000536 LensCrafters Position Part-Time General Function The EyeCare Advisor creates exceptional value in the lives of our customers by delivering the LensCrafters Experience. Ensures all patients receive high‑quality optometric care, drives store performance, and integrates the brand story with flawless execution of the patient experience. Major Duties & Responsibilities Greets customers promptly (within 30 seconds). Answers the telephone within three rings in a friendly, courteous manner. Explains all required paperwork, tests, products, and services. Reviews prescriptions and patient information carefully, identifying special needs and consulting with Optician, Managing Doctor or Retail Management when necessary. Shows patience and courtesy to indecisive or difficult customers and patients. Works accurately and thoroughly despite time pressure and customer volume. Identifies unsatisfied customers and resolves issues quickly. Demonstrates knowledge of appointment book/scheduling procedures and computer operations. Handles and files all patient records in an organized and efficient manner in accordance with HIPAA. Places contact lens orders, processes shipments, and submits invoices for payment. Operates the POS system, entering customer/patient and prescription information accurately. Collects payments following company security procedures. Explains “One Hour” processing and expected delivery times to customers. Maintains store appearance and visual displays in accordance with company guidelines. Maintains a safe working environment for all associates and patients. Responds quickly to changes in store promotions with appropriate staff communication and point‑of‑purchase materials. Retail Shows good product knowledge and accurately describes features and benefits of lenses and frames. Assists customers in selecting frames and lenses best suited for their vision, lifestyle, and budget. Doctor’s Office Performs all pre‑examination testing accurately and explains measurements to patients. Provides coaching and guidance on contact lens care and handling. Maintains and disinfects contact lens inventory; provides clinical support to the Optometrist as needed. Basic Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. Strong customer service skills. Knowledge of current fashion trends. Strong communication and listening skills. Problem‑solving ability. Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators. Organization skills. Sales skills. Basic math skills. Knowledge of office and store merchandise. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, retail, and/or optical. Strong interpersonal skills. Pay and Benefits Pay Range: $18.09 – $25.57 per hour. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and employee discounts.
