Truck Driver CDL A Floater Home Daily

Position Description Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Sturbridge, MA. Position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career with defined routes and schedules. Compensation details: $1550 weekly guaranteed Hourly pay: $28.50 per hour Mileage reimbursement: $0.72 per mile Hours per week: 50–55 (Monday–Friday, dispatch start time AM or PM) Paid training Route and equipment: Deliver SOLO to MA, RI, PA, CT, and ME Local Home Daily routes Tractor type: Day Cab Trailer type: Flatbed 40', 53' Freight: load securement only – metals Ryder will train on all necessary equipment Cover multiple accounts Truck age: 36 months or newer; 24/7 roadside maintenance; fueling at >800 facilities nationwide Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days 80 hours PTO first year, starting Day 1 (use it or get paid for it) Uniforms, cell phone & boot allowance provided Drivers are the captain—make safety decisions 401(k) rollover available now + company match after 1 year 12 weeks paid maternity leave (subject to eligibility) Employee discounts on tools, vehicles, travel, tech & more Requirements Minimum 21 years of age Pass Ryder drug test Pass Ryder background & motor vehicle check (including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for last 3 years) Pass DOT physical Pass Ryder road test Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months experience within past 3 years, OR 2 years’ experience within last 5 years, OR 5 years’ experience within last 10 years Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures Important Note Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
