Position Summary

The Network Engineering team is seeking a Sr Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and operational integration of legacy network environments. In this role, you will collaborate across functional teams to ensure seamless integration and minimal business disruption during mergers and acquisitions. You will leverage enterprise-approved AI tools and modern automation to streamline operational workflows, troubleshoot legacy infrastructure, maintain security compliance, and mentor junior engineering talent.

Primary Responsibilities

• Use enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and drive continuous improvement
• Evaluate emerging trends to inform solution design and strategic innovation
• Lead the design and implementation of network infrastructure for legacy environment integration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and minimal business disruption
• Maintain and troubleshoot legacy network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless system
• Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical infrastructure and participate in incident response
• Enforce consistent network standards and ensure compliance with security policies
• Support vulnerability management and lifecycle planning for legacy platforms
• Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures
• Assist in cost estimation and budgeting for technology refreshes and migrations
• Act as a functional subject matter expert (SME) and mentor to junior engineers
• Communicate technical requirements and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on M&A integration
• 5+ years of experience with Routing & Switching protocols (like, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise wireless networks (Wi-Fi, WLAN)
• 3+ years of experience with network security technologies including firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto), VPNs, and IDS/IPS

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or 4+ years of equivalent network engineering experience)
• Experience with network automation and scripting using Python or Ansible
• CCNP certification or equivalent practical network engineering experience
• Experience with cloud and virtualization technologies (SD-WAN, AWS, Azure)
• Experience using network monitoring and management tools (SolarWinds, Cisco DNAC, Panorama)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
