You are: Convinced a relationship with Jesus changes everything in a person's life Committed to keeping your family as your first ministry Dedicated in your personal study of God's Word Consistently placing a high priority on worship and your personal prayer life An excellent and generous steward of your personal finances Obedient to God to take a Sabbath and make space for soul-keeping Deeply compassionate towards people who are in need or hurting Excited about global missions and local outreach - you want to change the world A part of a healthy friendship community and accountability circle Willing to give up personal pleasures and freedoms in order to live a life Above reproach and is aligned with our Leadership Covenant Someone who displays a heart to serve and projects your own personality, while still maintaining an attitude of professionalism that is pleasing and glorifying to God Someone who is flexible with a heart to be all in Someone who is willing to work with a high volume of guests within crucial time constraints Someone who likes being quick on their feet You will: Successfully complete the training program before being scheduled for regular shifts Be thoroughly familiar with all food and beverage items Be responsible for having a working knowledge of table service & standards Handle cash, credit, debit, and gift card transactions Operate POS system to take orders and complete transactions Ensure that our guests feel "at home" and that they have a pleasurable dining experience from the time they are seated until the moment they leave Run food to tables making sure that guests receive their food in a timely manner Clean and maintain dining room Be safe staff certified Complete opening, running and closing side work Be responsible for using cutlery for chopping and or slicing small fruits and vegetables – as needed Adhere to all aspects of Employee Handbook including "Expectations and Work Standards" Be expected to perform other tasks, duties and training as dictated by their supervisors You have: A heart for the ministry A strong work ethic to set an example for our children Desire to serve Great sense of urgency Accept and follow directions well The ability to work well in a teamwork environment The flexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks The ability to perform basic math, write routine documents and speak clearly The ability to stand for long hours The ability to work with minimal supervision The ability to keep confidential matters confidential What you are required to know: We are an EEO employer. You may have to bend, sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, lift, pull, push and/or move up to 35 lbs. This is a part-time (20 hours/week) hourly non-exempt position. You may have to work evenings and/or weekends to assist with special events or emergencies.
