California Licensed VP of Legal

Leading the legal function for a rapidly scaling consumer healthcare company, the California Licensed VP of Legal will provide strategic legal guidance on regulatory, commercial, and compliance matters while operating remotely in a full-time capacity. Key responsibilities Own and lead the legal function across corporate, regulatory, commercial, and compliance matters Serve as a strategic legal advisor to the CEO and executive team on key business and regulatory decisions Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations Required qualifications JD from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar Experience advising regulated consumer, healthcare, or telehealth businesses Strong regulatory judgment and ability to interpret state-by-state requirements Excellent commercial contract drafting and negotiation skills Experience building scalable legal processes and frameworks from scratch
